Arkansas Incentives and Laws
Last Updated March 2009
The Arkansas legislature is scheduled to meet in odd-numbered years from mid-January until mid-March, though the session often continues into the month of April. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within five days of transmittal (except Sundays), or it becomes law without signature. If legislation is transmitted with less than five days left in the session, the governor must act within 20 days of transmittal (except Sundays), or legislation becomes law without signature.
Arkansas is the home of the Central Arkansas Clean Cities Coalition. Coordinator contact information is listed in the Points of Contact section.
