Help the Arts Council save resources and cut costs!
Over the course of each year, the Council is likely to send you postcards, brochures, invitations and an annual report. We want to keep you informed but we also want to conserve paper and save on printing costs. If you're willing to receive these communications via email, click below and fill out the form. CULTURAL FACILITIES GRANT SEEKER WORKSHOPS: The Arts Council will be hosting three Grantseeker Workshops for the Cultural Facilities program. Vermont organizations interested in funding to revive or refurbish historical buildings are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions. All workshops will take place from 3 to 5pm. If you plan to attend, please notify Susan McDowell.

For the past six months, ten artists have been creating suites of artwork as part of The Art of Action: Shaping Vermont's Future Through Art. Beginning in September, more than 100 pieces will begin a 10-month tour of communities across the state.
The traveling exhibition begins in Manchester, Vermont on September 1st. Don’t miss the gala opening on Friday, September 4th at Hand Motors in Manchester Center from 5:30-7:30pm. Click below for more information and a schedule of upcoming exhibitions and events.
Here’s a marketing opportunity for Vermont’s non-profit arts organizations: promote your series, gallery, theater or other arts events at The Big E. The Eastern States Exposition takes place in Springfield, MA and is New England’s largest fair. The Arts Council will be attending September 26-28 to promote Vermont as a cultural destination. We’ll have a display in Vermont Pavilion which hosts as many as 80,000 visitors a day. Click below for more information on how your organization can be represented.
