Walsh College

Since 1922, Walsh College has provided students in metro Detroit with a practical business education taught by business leaders. Of more than 20,000 alumni, 86 percent remain in southeastern Michigan and contribute to the region’s economy as business owners, entrepreneurs, CEOs, CFOs, and managing partners.

Walsh College’s graduate information security curriculum has gained a national reputation for mapping to rigorous government security standards. As a result, the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have designated Walsh a U.S. Center of Academic Excellence for Information Assurance.

The College offers three undergraduate and nine graduate degrees to 4,600 upper-division and graduate students taking courses at campuses in Troy, Novi, and Clinton Township, Michigan, and online from among more than 80 sections. 


Undergraduate degrees include:

Bachelor of Accountancy
Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Accounting Processes, Finance, General Business, Management, and Marketing.

Graduate degrees include:

Master of Business Administration

Master of Science in accountancy; information systems; finance; information assurance; international business; strategic leadership; and taxation.

At the doctoral level, Walsh offers a Doctor of Management in Executive Leadership

In January 2008 the 36,000-square-foot environmentally sustainable Jeffery W. Barry Center was opened for classes at the 23-acre Troy campus. The building contains an expanded modern library, an auditorium, and nine classrooms. The Center has a bronze LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
