Ginnie Mae has implemented several Web-based applications. These applications are designed not only to provide a central conduit for reporting requirements but also to reduce administrative burdens on the issuer community.

e-Access
Ginnie Mae e-Access is the entry point for issuers who use the following Ginnie Mae applications:

  • Web IIS:  The Web-based Issuer Information System
  • Web EDI:  The Web-based monthly loan level data entry system
    (available only to issuers that report 800 or fewer loans)
  • Web IEDS:  The Web-based Issuer Exception Display System

EDI
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the application-to-application exchange of business information in a standardized electronic format.
