July 21 - NOFAS has kicked off a 50-day fundraising drive to raise $9,909 by FASD Awareness Day on September 9, 2009. Proceeds will go towards FASD awareness day activities and to increase outreach and support to FASD families. The fundraising goal represents both the annual date for FASD awareness day and the recommendation for women to abstain from alcohol during the nine months of pregnancy.
