Summer rains in have brought much needed relief to parts of Arizona, lessoning the threat of wildfire.  Fire Restrictions are being lifted as conditions permit, however, please continue to be EXTRA careful with fire everytime you are on public lands. 

Arizona Strip District

Effective Friday, August 8, 2008, at 12:01 a.m., fire and smoking restrictions have been lifted. 

Phoenix District Office (Hassayampa and Lower Sonoran Field Offices)

Effective 6:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, fire and smoking restrictions have been lifted.  

Kingman Field Office

Effective Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 6:00 a.m., fire and smoking restrictions have been lifted.

Lake Havasu Field Office

Effective Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 6:00 a.m., fire and smoking restrictions have been lifted.

Yuma Field Office

Effective Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 6:00 a.m., fire and smoking restrictions have been lifted.

Safford / Tucson Field Offices

No restrictions.
