Recommendations Released for Strengthening the Science Base of Personal Genomics
Professionals from government agencies, academic and research institutions, industry, and consumer groups make recommendations for strengthening the science base for using personal genomics to assess risk and prevent disease. A new paper published this month in Genetics in Medicine outlines these recommendations, which are based on a personal genomics workshop hosted by CDC and NIH in December 2008.
