This area's diverse plant life represents four distinct physiographic regions. Other features include Beene Cabin, the Soda Mountain wilderness study area, and the Hyatt Lake Recreation Site. This section of the trail ranges from easy to moderately challenging terrain, depending on the direction of travel.
