I suggest $4 as a fair and reasonable fee for receiving a Credit Score Disclosure from any of the consumer reporting agencies. All agencies should be limited to this amount as the maximum fee, but they could choose to charge less. I would prefer that the government would minimally regulate the credit score market. But at least they should make sure the consumer reporting agencies correct any mistakes that are reported by a consumer quickly and thoroughly. This is especially important in cases where identity theft has occurred and the consumer is at the mercy of the credit bureaus. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
