To Renew a Measurement Device License

1. If you would like to renew an existing Measurement Device License, simply click the Existing Business license Button on the home page.
2. You will be directed to the Business Login page, which will prompt you to enter your business ID and Zip Code.
1. The Business ID is the middle number on your existing Measurement Device License in the upper right hand corner and labeled License Number e.g., "32778" not "295-32778-04."
2. The Zip Code field should be the Zip Code of the physical location of your Measurement Device.
3. Click Continue
4. You will be directed to the Business Information Confirmation page.  This page ensures that your Business Information is correct and current.
1. If your Business Information is correct and current, please click the Continue button and you will be directed to the next page, entitled Current Device Information.
2. If your Business Information is not correct and/or current, please click the Change button and you will be directed to the Edit Information page.
1. Please fill out the Edit Information page.
2. Once you are finished, please click the Submit button and your updated Business Information will be forwarded to the Colorado Department of Agriculture for entry into the system.
1. After you have submitted your updated Business Information, you will be unable to use the application until your updated information has been entered into the system at the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
2. Please wait for the Colorado Department of Agriculture to contact you via email, mail or telephone to inform you that your updated information has been verified and entered and that you may use the online application again.

5. If your Business Information is correct and current, and you have clicked the Continue button, you will be directed to the Current Device Information page.
6. The Current Device Information page will notify you of two things:
1. Your Current License Expiration Date or Expired, if the license is not current
2. The Quantity, Type and Fee of the Measurement Devices for which you are currently licensed
3. An opportunity to edit your business information, if you so desire
7. If the Information in the table is correct and current, please click the Submit button to renew your license.
1. If the Information in the table is not correct and current, you can add or remove devices from your license by clicking on the + or - buttons on the far right side of the table.

                                             i.   Each button corresponds to the Measurement Device in its row.

8. Once the numbers i n the Device Quantity field represent the correct number of measurement Devices at the location represented on the far left hand side of the screen, please click the Submit button.
9. The Reset button will reset the number of items in the Quantity field to its original number.
10. Once you have clicked the Submit button on the Current Device Quantity page, you will be directed to the Device Confirmation page.
1. This page shows the Measurement Devices and quantities of only the Devices chosen in the previous page. 
2. This page also shows the Renewal Fees, Additional Device fees (which
3. are Devices which have been added to the previous License quantity) and the Subtotal of the license fee.
11. If the Information in the table is correct, please click the Submit button.
12. If the Information in the table is not correct, please click the Edit Devices button and you will be directed to the Add or Remove Devices page.
1. The Add or Remove Devices page is the same in structure and function to the Current Device Quantity page.
2. On the Add or Remove Devices page, you may adjust the quantity of the devices at the location for which this license pertains.
3. Once the quantity of the devices has been adjusted, please click the Submit button and you will be directed to the Current Device Information page again.
4. Once you have clicked the Submit button on the Device Confirmation page, you will be directed to the Payment screens.
13. The Payment portion of this application is similar to making online payments in any internet application
14. Once your payment has been processed, please click the Click here to download a printable version of your Measurement Device License link in the red box at the top of the Query and Billing Disclosure page.
15. The license will appear on your screen in a separate browser window.
16. Please print the license and post at the location.

To Obtain a Measurement Device License

1. If this is your first application for a Measurement Device License (meaning you have never received a license in any form from the Department of Agriculture for a Measurement Device before), simply click on the New Business link.
2. Please fill out the Business Information page. 
3. Once you are finished, please click the Submit button and after you confirm your entries, your Business Information will be forwarded to the Colorado Department of Agriculture for entry into the system. 
1. After you have submitted your information for the first time, you will be unable to use the application until your information has been entered into the system at the Colorado Department of Agriculture. 
2. Please wait for the Colorado Department of Agriculture to contact you via email, mail or telephone to inform you that your information has been verified and entered and that you may use the online application.
4. Once you have been contacted by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, follow the instructions for To Renew a Measurement Device License above.
1. The only difference would be that the Device Quantities default to zero, so you must enter the current device quantity into the table.
