Welcome! The Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) is a Department of Energy/Office of Science Nanoscale Science Research Center (NSRC) operating as a national user facility devoted to establishing the scientific principles that govern the design, performance, and integration of nanoscale materials. Through its Core Facility in Albuquerque and Gateway to Los Alamos Facility, CINT provides open access to tools and expertise needed to explore the continuum from scientific discovery to the integration of nanostructures into the micro- and macro world. [download CINT Fact Sheet] CINT User Conference September 29-30, 2009, Hilton Hotel, Santa Fe, NM We are pleased to announce the 2009 Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) User Conference to be held September 29-30, 2009 in Santa Fe, NM. CINT is a DOE Office of Basic Energy Sciences scientific user facility for research by academic, industrial and national laboratory scientists. Whether you are a returning user, a prospective user, or a researcher interested in the science challenges associated with nanomaterials integration, you are encouraged to attend and learn more about the capabilities, expertise and science at CINT. Plenary Speakers: Altaf Carim, U.S. DOE Office of Basic Energy Sciences In addition to the plenary talks, the conference will feature a user poster session, conference banquet, optional facility tour, and two concurrent technical symposia: I. Nanoplasmonics: Fundamentals, Applications and Integration Invited speakers include:
II. Interfacial Phenomena in Nanoscience Integration Invited speakers include:
Related Events: The following related events being held in Santa Fe may also be of interest to CINT User Conference attendees:. • A satellite NSF-sponsored workshop for faculty interested in promoting nanoscience education will be held on Monday, September 28. Some support to attend the workshop and the CINT meeting will be available. Check the NMNEI website for details• On September 27-29 there will be a workshop titled New Frontiers in Casimir Force Control. • The Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) will be holding their User Conference on September 30 - October 1 Information & Registration:
