11th Annual Salmon Ocean Ecology Meeting, Juneau, Alaska, 7-8 April 2009

The 11th Annual Salmon Ocean Ecology Meeting is scheduled to be held in Juneau, Alaska on 7-8 April 2009. The venue for this year’s meeting is Juneau’s Centennial Hall, located in the heart of Alaska’s capital city. This year also marks the 50th anniversary celebration of Alaska’s statehood. The purpose of the Salmon Ocean Ecology Meeting is to foster communication and collaboration among researchers working on the ecology of Pacific salmon off the coasts of California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Alaska. This two-day meeting will consist of several sessions filled with 15-20 minute presentations, invited guests to speak on topics of mutual interest, poster sessions, a forecasting session, and meals & refreshments. An optional evening social event will be held at a waterside aquarium at a local salmon enhancement facility. Meeting schedule
