The first reunion held in June 2004 helped educate the community about the Saturn V Restoration Project. The outpouring of community support following that first reunion enabled the museum not only to restore the rocket but also to upgrade its planned housing from a temporary facility to a permanent structure where exhibits are planned that will feature Apollo, Space Shuttle, and Constellation Programs.
2009 Reunion
The Sixth Annual Saturn/Apollo Reunion was held Friday, July 10, 2009, at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
