The Employee Assistance Program is a FREE service
to Lab employees and their families for 1-3 visits

Knitting Club - Meets every Tuesday from 2-4pm in the Lounge at the Recreation Building 317. Sit, knit, crochet, and talk just for the fun of it! Children are welcome! You don’t know how to knit? Don’t worry! We’ll teach you. Come learn the basics of hand knitting, and treat yourself to a lifetime of creative relaxation.

 

Cooking and Craft Club - Meets every Thursday at 2pm in the Recreation Building 317. Activities include learning how to make ethnic dishes and fun crafts, like jewelry making, origami, cake decorating.

French Classes - Beginners Classes meet Tuesdays, noon; Intermediate meets Thursdays, 5:30pm.  Held at Recreation Building, upstairs classroom.  Please contact Galina, the teacher, at galpol@mail.ru

NEW - ESOL Classes for Parents with Children. Meets Thursdays, 9:15 am Recreation Building play area in the back of the "big room." Children welcome. English lessons for parents with kids. First floor.

English for Speakers of Other Languages Classes

When: Every day of the week
Where: Recreation Building
Fee: Free

Check on class times. Please fill out this Student Registration Form on-line to enroll in classes and mail to Jennifer Lynch, Building 179B.

Free testing for spoken English

If you’d like to be tested to see what level of English you are speaking, please contact Jennifer Lynch, Ext. 4894 or esol@bnl.gov, to set up a date and time for you to be tested at your convenience.
