The program provides planned, organized and supervised activities designed to meet the recreational needs of children 6 through 11 years of age. The program is also geared to enhance the participants existing recreational skills while introducing and encouraging interest in new areas of recreation. These programs are held at various elementary schools throughout the Albuquerque area. For more information, call 505-767-5885 from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Playground Recreation offers a summer recreation program for seven to eight weeks every summer to school age children, 6 to 11 years of age, at various elementary schools.
Registration is required and will be done on a first-come-first-served basis. A non-refundable registration fee is required. Once we reach our registration limit, any additional registration forms will be placed on a waiting list.
2010 Playground Recreation Summer Program registration and program dates are posted in March or April.
