Erie County's Computer Recycling program reuses and recycles computer and electronic components, such as metal and plastic, and assures that hazardous materials found in electronic equipment are properly handled and disposed. If you have any questions or you are interested in participating, call Erie County at 858-6370 or email us at recycle@erie.gov.

You can also donate your old cell phones to be recycled! Cell phones can be donated to the Erie County Sheriff's Department to be reused by community organizations for 911 emergency use. In addition, Erie County Department of Environment and Planning and the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library have teamed up to recycle old cell phones.
Many Erie County Libraries are now recycling old cell phones, please contact your local library to find out if they are participating.
