Inmates Intentionally Set Fire
On Thursday January 1st at approximately 7:00pm, the Las Cruces Fire Department responded to a fire at the Dona Ana County Detention Center. Sixteen inmates from a single wing were evacuated due to an intentionally set fire. (full story)
Don Roser To Be Closed Beginning Monday
Las Cruces motorists are advised that Don Roser Drive will be closed at the intersection of Terrace Drive starting Monday, January 5th at 7:00 am. The closure will not affect any public bus routes. (full story)

The City of Las Cruces government cable channel, CLC-TV 20, announces a change in its schedule effective, December 31st. City council rebroadcasts will now air on Wednesdays and Dona Ana County Commission meetings will air on Thursdays. (full story)
