DOE and its Hanford Site contractors offer four tours of the Hanford Site:
The Department of Energy has set dates for the 2009 Public Tour Program at the Hanford Site. A total of sixty public tours are planned, with each tour taking approximately five hours. Buses will leave at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. from the Volpentest HAMMER Training and Education Center on each of the tentative dates listed below:

Once again this year, as a result of continued popularity of these Hanford Tours, the only way to register for participating in a Hanford Tour is by signing up online. Registrations will begin to be taken through the registration website on Monday, March 30, for the entire season of Hanford Tours. Registration will continue until all seats are filled. Anyone who is a United States Citizen and is at least 18 years of age may sign up for a maximum of two seats this year.
When registering you must be able to provide your name and your home or email address, plus the name of every person you are registering. The names listed must match exactly the name on a valid photo identification which has to be presented to Fluor Hanford officials on the morning of your tour. Once you have provided all of the registration information you will be sent a confirmation email or letter. Please review this correspondence carefully to confirm that all of the information associated with your tour registration is correct.
