Election Day Survey Results
Every two years the EAC administers the Election Day Survey, an instrument used to collect nationwide data related to the administration of Federal elections.

Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act Studies
The EAC collects information bi-annually and studies challenges related to the transmission of absentee ballots to and from uniformed and overseas citizens.

National Voter Registration Act Studies
Every two years the EAC submits a report to Congress assessing the impact of NVRA on the administration of elections for Federal office.

Voting System Reports Clearinghouse 
As part of EAC's clearinghouse responsibilities under Section 202 of the Help America Vote Act, the commission adopted a policy authorizing staff to post and distribute voting system reports and studies that have been conducted or commissioned by a state or local government.

Topical Reports
The EAC has completed several HAVA-mandated studies on other election-related topics, including:

  • Successful practices for poll worker recruitment and training
  • Effective designs for the administration of federal elections
  • Provisional voting
  • Voter hotlines
  • Voter ID requirements
