As a member of the Climate Diagnostics Group, I work in collaboration with Gabriel Lau primarily looking at the effects of El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) on coupled atmosphere-ocean system variability and on various time-scales, and studying the climatological evolution in space & time of some of the world monsoon systems, with interests ranging from synoptic weather disturbances to interannual variability and trends.
