Research Interests

My primary interests are in the realm of modeling 20th century and future climate change resulting from increased concentrations of anthropogenic greenhouse gases.

Research Activities

  • execution of the Earth System Model (ESM) for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
    Fifth Assessment Report (IPCC AR5)
  • quality control and regression testing of model output

Prior Research Topics

  • sensitivity of coastal sea breeze circulations to land use and land cover changes
  • mesoscale modeling of wind energy resources in near-coastal waters
  • regional and hemispheric response of snowfall to increases in greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations

Education

  • Ph.D., Atmospheric Science, Rutgers University, 2008
  • B.S., Meteorology, Rutgers University, 2003
