Foreclosure
Both Palm Beach and Broward Counties offer valuable information and resources to help hard-working families stay in their homes. If you or someone you know is facing foreclosure, your county's assistance center may be able to help.
In Palm Beach County: The Foreclosure Assistance Center is a "one-stop-shop" solution center for families facing foreclosure problems. All homeowners who receive help from the center must enroll in a mandatory 12-month financial counseling and education program. In Broward County: The Foreclosure Prevention Program provides single family homeowners assistance in form of a deferred payment loan to pay defaulted mortgages. The county website also includes a list of foreclosure counseling agencies approved by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. For more information, please contact:
