Welcome

Welcome to the official website for the Village of East Aurora!
Village of East Aurora Photo Slideshow

Our sincere thanks to photographer Marty Wangelein and villager Sue Friess for providing the above photos in and around East Aurora.

Whether you're visiting with Santa, caroling at Vidlers, shopping on Main Street or skating at the new ice rink, winter is a fun time in Historic East Aurora.

Homeowners:  Please keep your sidewalks clear of snow and ice.  Children need to get through to walk to school and the mail carriers appreciate it too! Safety first

Chapter 223 of the Village Code states that property owners are responsible to maintain and repair sidewalks adjoining their land, and are responsible for removing snow, ice and other obstructions. Following a significant snow storm, when the snow is at least 6” deep, and after we have plowed the streets, we will attempt to clear as many sidewalks as possible as a public service. If we receive notice of a dangerous or hazardous sidewalk, we will contact the property owner to remedy or repair. If nothing is done, we will make the repair and bill the cost back to the property owner.

East Aurora has been home to former U.S. President Millard Fillmore, a center of Cultural Revolution and birthplace to one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world. Our community is firmly rooted in its past and keenly aware of its future.

We invite you to browse our website and learn more about East Aurora, New York and its history.
