What is WIC?

WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children. It is a supplemental nutrition program that provides free, healthy foods, and nutrition and breastfeeding education/support.

Who we help

To be eligible, you must qualify based on income and residency guidelines.

Where are the Erie County WIC site locations?

The Erie County Health Department is transitioning its WIC Program to Catholic Charities of Buffalo.

PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT WIC SERVICES WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS OF ERIE COUNTY.

Listed below are nearby WIC clinic locations where you can receive WIC Services. Most WIC clinics are staying at their existing locations. Two clinics will be moving after September 30, 2009.

Community Health Center, 462 Grider St., will close on August 3rd.

If you already receive services and want to keep using your same site, you do not have to take any further action. If your site is changing locations, you will be contacted to select a new site after September. If you are coming to WIC for the first time, you can visit any site.
