OSHA and The Dow Chemical Company signed an Alliance on Jan. 13, 2003 (renewed
May 26, 2004, May 12, 2006, and June 27, 2008). The Alliance focuses on
enhancing a culture of prevention while sharing proven practices and technical
knowledge in the areas of but not limited to process safety management, safety
and health management systems, emergency preparedness, and employee wellness
programs. Additional information on the OSHA and The Dow Chemical Company
Alliance is available on the Alliance Web page on the
OSHA Web site.
As a product of the OSHA and The Dow Chemical Company Alliance, Dow developed
four case studies. This presentation provides a brief overview of the case
studies.
