Summer Internship Programs

Departmental Offices Summer 2008 Internship Program - is designed to give students a unique opportunity to witness and contribute to the Department of the Treasury's important mission of “managing the U.S. Government’s finances effectively, promoting economic growth and stability, and ensuring the safety, soundness, and security of the U.S. international financial systems.

In addition to normal office duties, interns will attend weekly lectures, volunteer at special events, participate in tours, and contribute to a community service project in the Washington, D.C. area. Approximately 10-15 interns will be chosen to participate in this highly competitive program. College students of all majors are encouraged to apply.

Office descriptions can help you determine your areas of interest and assist you in making an informed decision about which offices might fit your qualifications. Interns will be selected based on their application and demonstrated interest in public service.
