Q.
I am getting very big number for time. What is the unit of the time in
level 2 product. I would like to have yyyymmddhhmmss for each granule.
A.
You are apparently reading the start_time or end_time for the granule,
which is given as TAI time (elapsed seconds since start of 1993).
Instead, read
start_year (2002->current year UTC)
start_month (1->12 UTC)
start_day (1->31 UTC)
start_hour (0->23 UTC)
start_min (0->59 UTC)
start_sec (0.0 ->59.0 UTC)
The duration of a granule is 6 minutes of time.
