STATE RECOVERY ACT OUTREACH TOUR BEGINS AUGUST 11

The Governor's Economic Recovery Team announced it will launch a statewide tour, visiting all 64 counties, to help Colorado's small businesses and minority communities learn about opportunities with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Maranda Pleau, Director of Minority and Small Business Outreach for the Governor's Economic Recovery Team, will kick off the tour August 11-12, in southern Colorado.

"Leveraging the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds is one way to help Colorado emerge from this economic downturn faster and stronger," said Gov. Ritter. "These statewide meetings are designed to move Colorado forward by providing individuals, small businesses and community organizations with information on how best to access those funds."

Statewide Outreach Tour Meetings, Aug. 11 & Aug. 12:

Tuesday, Aug. 11:

  • 9 to 10:30 a.m.: Trinidad/Carnegie Public Library, 202 North Animas Street, Trinidad
  • 1 to 3 p.m.: Costilla County Public Library, 418 Gaspar Street, San Luis

Wednesday, Aug. 12:
