South Valley residents are encouraged to access a “Nurse Advice Hotline” 1-877-725-2552 through the Nurse Advice SM New Mexico, where they can seek advice and answers to common medical questions 24 hours a day.
“We are very pleased to offer this service to South Valley residents,” says Commissioner Cordova. “Everyone encounters situations that require medical assistance, whether you are a parent, a caretaker of aging parents, or an active adult. This hot line provides a wealth of information.”
“We have also added a field case manager, who will be available at the South Valley Health Commons beginning April 1. This individual will provide case management for high risk patients and their families.”
The hotline was established in conjunction with the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Office for Community Health and The Coordinated Systems of Care Community Access program of New Mexico (CSC-CAPNM).
