BART Modeling Documents and
Files (see Colorado's
main regional haze website): |
- Modeling guidance for BART 5-step process. [Colorado-BART-Analysis-Modeling-Guidance.pdf] (788 k), (April 12, 2006)
- CALMET/CALPUFF BART Protocol for Class I Federal Area Individual Source Attribution Visibility Impairment Modeling Analysis [Colorado-subject-to-BART-CALPUFFprotocol.pdf] (4,563 k), (October 24, 2005)
- The protocol references Colorado's CALPUFF postprocessor (BART98_v3) for generating 98th percentile results. It has been replaced by a newer version (BART98_v4). For subject-to-BART modeling, the newer version generates the same results as the previous version. It is not a U.S. EPA approved postprocessor. It was developed by Colorado to streamline the process of generating 98th percentile results when a large number of model runs are being performed. The U.S. EPA's recommended 98th percentile method can be implemented without this processor by sorting the daily delta-deciview maxima from CALPOST and selecting the appropriate value (e.g., 8th high value for 1 year, 22nd high for 3 years, 37th high for 5 years). [bart98_v4.zip] (548 k), (February 14, 2006).
