Input-Output Accounts Data: Historical Annual Tables

Note: These historical annual accounts are based on the 1987 Standard Industry Classification (SIC) system; they are not consistent with the NAICS-based estimates for 1997-2002, nor are they consistent with the 2003 comprehensive revision of the national income and product accounts.

Historical Annual tables

• 1999 Annual I-O Accounts
  Contains the make, use, direct requirements coefficients; industry-by-commodity total requirements, commodity-by-commodity total requirements, and industry-by-industry total requirements tables; estimates of commodity transportation costs and wholesale and retail trade margins; alternative use and make tables also provided with industries defined on a 1987 SIC basis (97 industry detail): 1999 (EXE - 914KB) (ZIP - 846 KB)

  Note: These accounts update the 1998 Annual I-O Accounts and, therefore, continue to be based on the 1987 SIC system, the same as that used by the National Income and Product Accounts (NIPAs), the GDP by Industry Accounts, and the Gross State Product Accounts. In 2004, following the NIPA comprehensive revision, the Annual I-O Accounts for 2000 were published on a NAICS basis, consistent with the revised NIPAs, and were benchmarked to the 1997 Benchmark I-O Accounts.

  Make and use tables before redefinitions are based on the 1987 Standard Industry Classification System (SIC). Tables are also available after redefinitions; these include make, use, direct requirements, industry-by-commodity total requirements, commodity-by-commodity total requirements, and industry-by-industry total requirements tables.
