CMS will periodically hold national conference calls on a variety of topics related to the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).  When each call is announced, registration information will be provided on this page. All calls are free of charge. If you are unable to participate in a scheduled call, options to hear the call or read a transcript of the call will be made available.

March 18, 2009 Special Open Door Forum: 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm EST. This Special Open Door Forum was co-hosted with the American College of Cardiology. The forum was geared towards cardiology-specific topics related to participation in PQRI and included a question and answer session.

April 22, 2009, National Provider Call; 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm EST. This call included a presentation on PQRI followed by a Q & A session.  A power point slide presentation used during this call is posted in the "Downloads" section below. The topics covered  included:

• An update on the PECOS system for Medicare enrollment;
• An update on the prostate cancer measures-2008: Measure #101; 2008-2009: Measure #102, #104, and #105;
• Tips for satisfactorily participating in the 2009 PQRI; and
• Planning for the 2010 PQRI reporting options.
