Instrument Categories: Surface Meteorology
General Overview
These data can only be distributed to ARM scientists. ARM scientists who obtain these data must agree to acknowledge use of the data in their publications and not to share the data with others who are not on the ARM Science Team.
The Oklahoma Mesonet (sponsored by University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State) provide 05-, and 15-minute averaged surface meteorological data daily in near real-time and quality assured data files, with about a month delay. In addition, soil moisture information is available in 30-minute averaged quality assured files. The Oklahoma Mesonet network consists of over 100 automated observing stations located throughout the state.
