Employer Services Private Sector Employers

Private Sector Employers Welcome

ES ThankYou Employers play an essential role in ensuring that children are financially supported by noncustodial parents. Of the $21.9 billion collected for child support in FY 2004, 70% or $15.3 billion came from employers through income withholding.

The requirements placed upon private sector employers vary somewhat from those placed upon Federal agency employers. This section is intended to provide guidance to private sector employers. Information for Federal agency employers is covered in the "Federal Agency" section.

We welcome all private sector employers to this section of the Employer Services website.
