Our family has been both invested through a financial advisory firm and actively trading stocks for years. We feel the 2007-2008 market maladies provide irrefutable evidence that the uptick rule never should have been suspended. Additionally, it makes no sense to us why the ETF's are allowed to use xx and now want xxx status. Why would large investment groups be provided such an advantage over people like us? The SEC has made numerous mistakes either intentionally favoring special interest groups and/or pure laxness. If they are unwilling to admit their mistakes, please see to it the mistakes are properly corrected so we can have at least a level playing field to invest.
Respectfully,
Steven J. Snelling
