TVA has been reporting to the public on its environmental performance since 1999. These reports outline the progress TVA has made and the activities it has carried out to meet its environmental responsibilities, as well as its successes and ongoing challenges.
2008 Environmental Performance Update
This update presents key environmental issues that TVA dealt with in fiscal year 2008. It reflects TVA’s alignment with the Environmental Policy issued in May 2008 and discusses climate change mitigation efforts and air quality measures TVA has taken to control emissions, as well as clean water, waste disposal, and compliance issues.
