What benefits are available?

Answer:

When you retired, your agency and/or OPM’s Retirement Programs Office determined whether you were eligible to continue Basic and Optional (if applicable) insurance into retirement. You had to meet certain requirements.

If you met these requirements, you were eligible to continue your Basic and Optional coverage(s). Your coverage continued based on the elections you made at retirement for your Basic and Optional insurance(s).
