SAMHSA's Office of Applied Studies now has data available on the web on substance abuse treatment admissions by each State in the United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.  The substance abuse treatment admissions data are presented by primary substance of abuse, according to sex, age and race/ethnicity.  These data are the latest information reported by each State to the Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS) data collection system.
