STORY FORMATS

Web Stories
Our web stories, in HTML format, are our primary product. They provide text and images in a friendly, readable format for anyone with a networked computer and a web browser.

XML Stories
All of our recent stories are available in XML format. XML, is a more general format than HTML. A single XML document can be automatically converted to HTML that matches the look and feel of multiple different web sites.

Audio Stories
All of our English stories are available in audio, in the MP3 format. You can play these files on your computer with nearly any media player, including Windows Media Player, iTunes, RealPlayer, QuickTime, or WinAmp. They also work in most portable music players, like the iPod.
We provide two different links to the audio at the top of each story. One, labeled streaming audio, goes to a playlist, or M3U file. The other, labeled downloadable file goes directly to the MP3 file. Depending on your browser, one may work better for you than the other. There is also a Podcast feed, with our most recent stories available.

Simple Format Stories
We convert all our XML stories into a very simple format intended for download to handheld devices, such as Palm, PocketPC or Win CE devices, or some cell phones. There are no images in the stories.

Stories in Other Languages
