Since 2003, ERS and Farm
Foundation have co-sponsored annual workshops to review
progress of PREISM-funded projects and provide a forum
for dialogue on economic issues associated with agricultural
invasive species. The workshops bring together academic
researchers, representatives from a variety of Federal
agencies, and other stakeholders concerned with managing
agricultural invasive species.

management of invasive species. Dr.
Richard N. Mack, Professor of Ecology at Washington
State University, gave the keynote speech titled, "Calling
All Economists, ED/RR Needs Your Help." The featured
