Transportation-Related Manufacturing
The Tennessee Valley is a leader in automotive manufacturing with proximity to multiple major manufacturers in the southeastern U.S. Transportation-related manufacturing includes automotive assembly and emerging technologies such as advanced battery manufacturing, research, and development and alternative energy and materials such as bioplastic parts, solar film, and polyurethane tires for autos. Energy Generation
This segment includes wind, solar, hydro and marine, biofuels and biomass, geothermal, and other power supply resources. The Valley’s focus on energy efficiency and innovation as well as proactive legislation are strong selling points for companies considering a move to the area. Read more.

Logistics, Distribution, and Warehousing

Data Centers and Payment Processing
This target industry segment includes enterprise data centers, financial services processing, and technology companies. Data centers and technology companies meeting the following criteria are eligible for TVA’s most competitive rates:
- Power demand over 5,000 kilowatts
- Average monthly load factor of 80 percen or higher
- Listed in an eligible NAICS code for companies such as Internet service providers and financial transactions processing.
