Station and Shuttle Tracking

The official NASA tool for pass predictions of the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle is available through Human Space Flight Web site's Sighting Opportunities web page.

J-Pass no longer provides pass information for Space Station or Shuttle.

J-Pass will show upcoming satellite passes (other than Space Station or Shuttle) for your area. If the US zip code for your location is , or if your latitude is 0 and your longitude is 0, you can confirm your local time in the popup window and start examining passes.

If not, you can enter your location in the form to the right (5-digit zip code, or lat. and long. in decimal format) and click the "Go" button. Or you can click on the "Options" button below to choose your location from a list of cities.

You must click the Option button, choose the "Control" tab at the top, and change the Satellites selection to "All Satellite" or "Custom" to get any meaningful results. The default, "Shuttle/Station/Mir" will not return any results, since NASA has consolidated Station and Shuttle tracking at the Human Space Flight Web site, and Mir is no longer in orbit.

J-Track is no longer in active development, but remains a useful tool for spotting various noncrewed satellites.
