Food Safety Risk Assessment
The USDA
Food Safety Risk Assessment Committee was
formed to enhance communication and coordination
among various USDA agencies and to promote
scientifically sound risk assessments in
support of food safety policy and regulatory
decisions.
Committee members represent CSREES, Agricultural
Research Service (ARS), Animal and Plant
Health Inspection Service (APHIS) , Economic
Research Service (ERS), Food and Nutrition
Service (FNS), Food Safety Inspection Service
(FSIS), Office
of Risk Assessment and Cost-Benefit Analysis
(ORACBA), and the Agricultural Marketing
Service (AMS).
