I support health care reform that provides quality and affordable access for Americans.   To win my support, a health care reform package must:

• reduce excessive costs in the system
• increase the portability of your plan so you can keep your coverage even if you change jobs;
• include real medical malpractice reform to reduce cost associated with junk lawsuits and defensive medicine;
• create insurance pools to help small businesses secure coverage for their employees;
• create risk pools for the uninsured;
• eliminate exclusions for preexisting conditions;
• allow children to stay on parental health plans up to age 25; and
• provide incentives for wellness and prevention.
