CONGRESSMAN WALZ TO HOLD TOWN HALL MEETING IN MANKATO
Mankato, MN — Next Thursday, Congressman Walz will hold a town hall meeting to hear from southern Minnesotans about their ideas and concerns on health insurance reform. U.S. ENERGY SECRETARY CHU AND CONGRESSMAN WALZ PROMOTE CLEAN ENERGY ECONOMY AT ROCHESTER WIND FACILITY
Rochester, MN - Today, U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Congressman Tim Walz visited the IBEW Local 343 Wind Training Facility in Rochester, Minnesota to promote the benefits of a clean energy future for southern Minnesota’s economy.  At the facility, Chu and Walz met with municipal and non-profit cooperative energy providers and took part in demonstrations of three home-grown, cutting-edge renewable energy projects. CONGRESSMAN WALZ URGES HELP FOR DAIRY INDUSTRY, SECRETARY VILSACK ANNOUNCES ASSISTANCE
WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced assistance for struggling dairy farmers after hearing from Rep. Tim Walz and other Members of Congress about the need for action.
