Working Together to Fix Health Care

    Town hall meetings by telephone have been a critical component of my effort to ensure Western New Yorkers' voices are heard in Washington. On these calls, residents receive a briefing on the latest developments in Congress, and more importantly, have the opportunity to ask me questions as part of a substantive dialogue on the issues of the day. This technology also gives us the ability to conduct polls and provide results in real time. 

    My fifth health care town hall meeting by telephone will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:50 p.m. All residents of the 26th Congressional District are invited to attend. You can sign up to participate by clicking HERE.

    "Cash for Clunkers"

    The CAR Allowance Rebate System (CARS), also known as "Cash for Clunkers," helps consumers buy or lease a more environmentally-friendly vehicle from a participating dealer when they trade in a less fuel-efficient car or truck.
