Overview:
Shirley serves as national program leader, Human Nutrition Research and Extension; she works with university collaborators to identify mission-relevant problems and opportunities in human nutrition; directs and manages related programs to respond to these situtations through science-based research activities; and evaluates and assesses outcomes and impacts of these program to mission outreach and extension activities.
