The Thermophysical Properties User Center (TPUC) facilities are used to study thermal stability, thermal expansion, specific heat, transformation temperatures, thermal diffusivity, and thermal conductivity of materials as a function of temperature and/or environment.


Laser Flash Thermal Diffusivity System


Several specialized and unique instruments exist in this user center, and new capabilities can be developed to meet measurement needs for important national problems.
