Important Notice on Consular Hours for late July and August 2009

The Consular Section wishes to inform the American Citizen Community that the sole Consular Officer will be away unexpectedly in late July and August and possibly longer.  If you are planning to renew your own or your child’s passport, add visa pages, file for a Report of Birth Abroad, or have documents notarized, please make an appointment with the Consular Section via the following link:  https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/default.asp?postcode=GAB&appcode=1   This will alert the Consular Section to your planned visit to the Embassy and will help ensure that a back-up Consular Officer is available to assist you.
