SUBJECT:	Fiscal Year 2002 Approved Equipment List Equipment Cost Estimates

The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) is pleased to provide the attached list of equipment cost estimates as a planning tool to assist states in completing their applications for funding under the FY 2002 State Domestic Preparedness Program. These estimates were developed through surveys of vendors for equipment in each of the following categories:

• Personal Protective Equipment
• Explosive Device Mitigation and Remediation
• WMD Technical Rescue Equipment
• Interoperable Communications Equipment
• Detection Equipment
• Decontamination Equipment
• Physical Security Enhancement Equipment
• General Support Equipment
• Medical Supplies and Pharmaceuticals
